Better than our sad little electric heater

I’m largely solar powered, and dank winter gloom [see: Wellington, April-October] generally leaves me curled up in a useless ball of self-pity, wishing hibernation was physically and socially feasible. Sorting through photos on a freezing rainy day while sitting in the same spot that I must have taken this shot of Jackson from, I was momentarily transported back to summer in a full on sensory sunlight-shot-to-the-retinas moment. It totally gave me a buzz.

Also, how amazing are his limbs? When Jackson stretches it’s An Event.

  1. I remember those curtains fondly. Much better in B/W!
